Stacey Franklin

Stacey Franklin is a sought-after professional harpist and soprano who performs frequently with notable arts and entertainment organizations throughout Texas. Stacey has over 10 years of teaching experience with students ranging from preK to high school in private studios spanning from the Houston Heights to Clear Lake and Katy. While voice and harp are her primary instruments, she also enjoys teaching beginning piano and ukulele. Stacey earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance magna cum laude from Baylor University. Favorite roles include Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Mademoiselle Silberklang (The Impresario), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), and Yum Yum(The Mikado). In recent years, she has widened her scope in jazz and musical theater by studying interpretation, improvisation, and composition with leading musicians in the industry. Also a founding member of the acapella quartet Prince Street Singers, Stacey maintains a vibrant presence in Houston’s musical community.
